Bailey's Harbor, WI
July 26, 2018
We woke up and made Southwest Eggs and drove to the Ridges Nature Center in Bailey's Harbor. We had a two hour guided hike through the Sanctuary and got to go up in one of the range lights. We made a picnic lunch on Lake Michigan and the kids played on the beach and then walked for Door County Cherry ice cream in Bailey's Harbor at YumYumTree. We went to Custer's Last Straw and bought a cherry pie. Stu bought a growler of "peach milkshake" beer at Door County Brewing Co and Music Hall. We went back to the campsite to relax for a bit and the kids played with their new friends. We tried out our first Supper Club at Floria II. There was a piano player who sang Happy Birthday to me. We had walleye and perch with cherry wine and a salad with cherry vinaigrette (can you tell it's cherry season?). We met an 83 year old lady who Airstreams by herself and a wonderful family with three kids. We came back and had s'mores and cherry pie with our new friends. What a great day!
