Pueblo, CO Day 2

We slept in and ate 'lil smokies, strawberries and chocolate croissants. After making a huge sub sandwich, and packing other lunch essentials, we loaded the bikes in the truck and headed 45 minutes north to Colorado Springs to see the Garden of the Gods! It was really awesome! We parked and climbed around and then had a picnic lunch on the truck tailgate. We drove to the Siamese Twin Trail and I accidentally led us to an off-limits road. It was a pretty view but we had to turn around because of narrow road warnings! We found another spot near Balanced and Steamboat Rocks and hiked up to Siamese Twins. It was gorgeous! Next we drove to Manitoba Springs and the kids and I played at the "penny" arcade (read dollar arcade). We restocked on groceries and drove back to the campsite. On the way back, we hit a big rainstorm and took the scenic route to get gas and came back to the Airstream. We tried to plan the next leg of our journey and made Walking Tacos for dinner.
